Father Athanasius Attia Father Timothaos Gabriel
Father Timothaos Gabriel completed his Bachelors degree in Law at Ein-Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.  He was ordained as a priest by His Grace Bishop Youanis (the late Bishop of Gharbia) on 4 February 1977, to serve the congregation of St. George’s Cathedral in Tanta. Read more
Father Athanasius Attia grew up in Melbourne and graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) in 1994.  Before entering priesthood, Father Athanasius had served for St. George’s Church and St Mary’s Church teaching grades six through high school, becoming a high school and university coordinator. Father Abanoub first arrived in Australia at the age of 9 where he entered primary school in Ascotvale followed by Lyndale Secondary College in Dandenong. He then completed his tertiary qualifications at RMIT University with a maths degree (majoring in Statistics). He also previously studied a one year degree in Mechanical Engineering. Read more
